Step 11: This is what you should have now... It's great to slice but we don't want to over slice! Each square will be place in a cell in a table and we don't want to have cells that won't be used. In the next step you will see how to delete to unecessary cells.

Step 12: With the fourth tool, the eraser you will go over the lines where I have put a black x. When going over the line, when you will see a cross with the eraser icon, that's mean you can click and the line will be deleted. So go and erase all the line with the black x.

Step 13: After erasing the unecessary lines, here is what you should have, a nice layout, sliced with only the cells we need, to put in the menu and iframe!

Step 14: Now it's time to save. Saving can be a little tricky cause you can get eaten by the gif monster! I will show you how to avoid that. First create a new folder on your hardrive where you want to save your new layout. Back in psp click on optimize cell button. In the new window, click on the color tab. There you will want to click on optimize octree and if the image is still looking creepy you can play with the dithering to get a better result. Usually you can get a very good image quality. When you will be satisfied with the result just click the ok button.

Step 15: After that you will be bring back to the slicer window. Make sure that the format is in GIF and that you tick the apply optimization to whole image.

Step 16: Your ready to save! Click on the save button and enter a file name. I usually call it index, since it will be the index page of my website. After you can close the image slicer window. Now I invite you to go see in that folder created earlier to see what you have saved exactly... You should have all your images cut into pieces and a html page. Click on the html page. You should have something similar to this: Clickie. It's your layout all hold together in a table!
